In this section you will find an extensive range of different pastel painting aids. Branded fixatives are available by Sennelier, Winsor andNewton, Daler Rowney, Royal Talens andLascaux. Fixatives are available in an aerosol can or in a regular bottle; if this is the case you might consider applying a thin even layer with the use of a mouth diffuser. Fixatives fix work onto the surface they have been applied to, and can be worked over if necessary. Fixatives have a slightly tendency to darken the appearance of colours, which you may want to consider before using. In addition to our fixatives we offer a number of blending solutions, including colour shapers, double ended blenders, tortillions and paper stumps. Some pastellists like to add finer detail to their work with the use of pastel pencils, and we offer a couple of pastel pencil sharpeners that will allow you to sharpen your pastel pencils to a fine point without the soft pastel leads from crumbling.
