Prussian Blue Pigment (PB27). Inorganic pigment produced by oxidation of ferrous ferrocyanide salts. Transparent - good glazing colour. Strong tinting strength. Good Lightfastness. Medium drying rate and oil absorption (and therefore wrinkles if applied thickly). Suitable for oil, egg tempera and watercolour, but not acrylic or fresco as reacts with alkaline.
