I have several tubes of Daniel Smith watercolours and absolutely love them, especially the Quinacridones which are beautiful, rich colours. Quinacridone Fuchsia is a single pigment cool red, a little bluer than quin. rose in tints but not as blue as quin. magenta. At full strength it\'s a strong, deep reddish pink. Washes are lovely and smooth, making it perfect for floral paintings.
I can also recommend the quin. gold, it\'s still made with the rare PO49 pigment and is the most beautiful earth colour. It\'s great to find a UK supplier of this wonderful range.
