Sharpening & Sundries

Having invested in good quality woodcut and linocut tools, it makes sense to get the most out of them and to take the strain out of the carving process. It may seem intimidating but it is a skill well worth learning. With patience and practice it becomes easier, and it may well become a favourite ritual as you prepare to start work. Maintaining the tools with regular stropping will reduce the frequency with which you need to sharpen.
