The Long Conversation: Poetry and Painting
Artists have interpreted the long-standing relationship between the written word and visual art, in the broadest terms. Poetry that paints a picture, paintings that are full of poetry, text-based work, artists’ books, sound installations, photography, printmaking, sculpture, performance, and poetry readings are all included.
Palestinian artist Majed Shala will be a guest artist at the exhibition. He will also have a solo exhibition at the Arab British Centre May 23-27.
