This is funny! I enjoy the sense of humour at Golden Acrylics!
And it underscores a serious subject as well – you must shake your spray varnish!
Aerosol varnish is very thin and settling occurs. The stem inside the can pulls up from the settled thick parts and any matting agents in the bottom. If they have not been mixed in there can be a spattery texture and uneven sheen, not the uniform spraying pattern you want. For a successful varnish coat you need a consistent spray quality. This means you need to shake the can for a full two minutes before use (this is longer than you think) and for 15 seconds for each minute of use.
After all the time you have spent painting, be sure the last step doesn’t ruin it.
