St Annes artist Margaret King is exhibiting at The Fylde Gallery for the first time. Her exhibition, From the Seabed to the Farthest Star, comprises works that all have a link to nature.

An exhibition by Margate-based artist Tom Swift that was commissioned by local restaurant and gallery Hantverk & Found. The Harbour Arm Gallery is out on the pier next to the Turner Contemporary Gallery. The exhibition is on at both the Harbour Arm Gallery and at Hantverk & Found.

Art Licks Weekend 2015

Back for its third year, the Art Licks Weekend is a festival that celebrates the contribution that emerging artists and grassroots projects make to the cultural life of London.
Exhibitions and events across East & South East London, Friday to Sunday, 12-6pm. Opening night: Thursday 1 October, 6-9pm.
M J Forster Watercolours

Exhibition of original watercolour paintings by M J Forster. During the exhibition the artist will be demonstrating his water colour techniques in a series of informal lectures 10.30am, 2.30 pm and 7.30 pm Monday to Friday.

The Abstract 7 are a group of five painters and two sculptors; all of whom favour the modernist’s approach and a philosophy of abstraction that echoes the appreciation of the New York abstract expressionists. All exhibiting artists are associates of the Penwith Gallery in St Ives where Ben Nicholson and Barbara Hepworth first made a stand for abstraction in England. The group will be launching their first exhibition as ‘Abstract 7’ at the Penwith Gallery which has recently enjoyed a new lease of life and upgrade.
