With over 300 outstanding entries, our shortlist for our Pastel Portrait Competition has now been selected. We have seen some breathtaking work, from exquisitely detailed animal portraits to more expressive self portraits, the entries have definitely shown off the medium of pastel to its best! The shortlisted entries were selected for displaying both technical skill and artistic intention.
What happens next?
Jackson’s Judging Panel will select the overall winner which will receive a 72 Unison Pastels Set for Portraits. Three further prizes will be selected by a public vote, each winner will get to choose 2 sets of 14 Jackson’s Handmade Soft Pastels.
