The Society of Wood Engravers – 77th Annual Exhibition<\/h5>\n

The exhibition will feature over 100 prints depicting a wide variety of subjects. Prices range from \u00a345 to \u00a3550. This is the first time for several years that the Society of Wood Engraver<\/a>‘s show has has been held in the South East. The work of the highly regarded artist Gwenda Morgan (1908-1991) who lived all her life in Petworth will be highlighted. There will be events and demonstrations during the exhibition.<\/p>\n

Paul Catherall: 15 Years Of Linocuts<\/h5>\n

Paul Catherall<\/a> is a London based printmaker and illustrator who has become renowned for his clean, sharp linocuts of architectural landmarks, many of which will be very familiar to people and include Telecom Tower, Battersea Power Station and Tate Modern. He has a passion for highlighting and bringing to life structures that may have been neglected, overlooked or just unappreciated for a long while, such as the Elephant and Castle Shopping Centre. The exhibition will feature a range of work from this leading printmaker and includes a private viewing on the evening of April 16th, with a chance to meet the artist.<\/p>\n
