Description: Quinacridone Red 155 is a cool, lightfast red in a high key. More yellow than Quinacridone Rose.

M. Graham watercolours are made with a unique blend of Northwest blackberry honey and carefully selected pigments.

The colours range from delicate tints to strong, concentrated colour. Honey's viscosity offers artists smooth and easy application, as well as yielding strong and true colours. It also helps the watercolours to dilute easily, even after months without use. They also resist hardening on the palette or in the tube.

Nice, strong yellow. Great for layering and mixing different colours.

Not quite the primary blue I expected, cause it can't get like a (reference: permanent green pale from this brand). but it makes a beautiful natural green with olive undertone. Good as a lightly warm blue in my palette.

Perfect as a primary red, gorgeous when layered in gradients!

This could be one of my favorite earth mixing colours when I want an alternative to Burnt Sienna. Unfortunately it is also very runny, sticky and refuses to harden.(The paint I squeezed into a Fusion palette 4 months ago is still wet, unlike the other paints.) This makes it rather difficult to use.it has a very high tinting strength and its consistency makes it difficult to pick up the small amount needed for a mix,so you end up mixing up a lot of paint to counteract this. It also makes it unsuitable for plein air use for me. It is a lovely colour but neither portable nor easy to handle which is a shame and limits how often I use it.

Love this paint, highly saturated middle yellow with excellent mixing properties. Being honey based can take a while to dry in pans. Some M Graham paints don’t dry in pans and remain very sticky and “mobile” so not ideal for travel. Jury is still out in this respect.

MG Indian Yellow is one of only two PY110s on the market, at least that I'm aware of, and this one is my favorite. It's also one of the few "Indian Yellow" colors that are single pigment. It's a lovely warm, deep yellow with a slight hint of red/orange. (Daniel Smith's Perm Yellow Deep, the other PY110 on the market, IMO is more red and not as beautifully soft.) I can't travel with M Graham watercolors because they stay too moist in my palette and make a mess, but for home studio use, this color can be an excellent choice for a deep, warm yellow.
