It is a bit pricey so I wait for the sales, lovely flow, and great for mixing. I do love this brand , shame is it is not cheaper.

Stunning paint, lovely deep colour with great layering/glazing capacity. Similar to A Gallo Paints. Really lovely on all papers were some paints fail to look so good. A bit pricer than other brands but I do love the dried colour.

Pigment PBk26, single pigment, a deep midnight blue, perfect for night snd stormy skies. I'd never thought of including a grey in my palette but I think there will be times when I include this one. Excellent quality, recommended.

I prefer this to the Daniel Smith PO71: it is brighter, lighter, less red/brown. It's a marigold mid orange. While orange is far from necessary in your palette I would recommend this one if you do. The paint quality is exceptional.

Bought because I'd not seen this pigment (PR149) before. I'd say it's between PR254 and PR255 in hue but slightly darker / lower chroma than both. It's a perfectly good colour and an excellent paint but I don't really see a use for it. If you want a bright red then the pyrrols above fit better, if you want a darker red there's PR179 perylenes.
