Stabilo Carbothello Pastel pencils are dry and dusty with the consistency and quality of coloured charcoal. The pencils can be used dry colours blended on the paper, or they can also be used with water as watercolour pencils. The strength of the colours means that they also work well on dark papers. High pigmentation guarantees great luminosity and opacity as well as colour -fastness and colour brilliance. Stabilo Carbothello Pastel Pencils are available in 60 different shades.

I love these as they have very high pigment load, they sharpen very well and are very low dust: hardly any.
The pigment spreads very evenly with no nasty surprises like gritty bit's, very smooth. I use them for wildlife at a semi-pro' level so I have to have really reliable equipment and these fit the bill perfectly.
