Lefranc & Bourgeois Extra Fine Oil Colours are a popular range of artist oil colours with cadmium-free alternatives.

After laboratory research and close collaboration with artists, Lefranc & Bourgeois were able to create colours that match the strength of genuine cadmiums. A range that doesn't rely on cadmiums offers artists a more environmentally friendly and less toxic alternative.

These highly pigmented colours have high colour intensity and lightfastness. They are very finely ground which ensures a smooth, homogenous consistency. Lefranc Oil Colours have firm, non-greasy, and uniform consistencies. Depending on the nature of the pigments, they are formulated from either linseed or safflower oil. Both oils guarantee colour strength and are selected according to the properties of each pigment.

The range features 120 colours, including 61 single pigments. There are also a wide selection of 18 blues, and 5 unique metallic colours.
