Daniel Smith : Watercolour Paint : 15ml : Rose of Ultramarine : Series 1
Rose of Ultramarine (PB29 PV19) is a purple hue in which the blue settles and the rose lifts. This separation gives a colour a multi-dimensional quality that self-mixed purples struggle to achieve. This product is particularly effective when juxtaposed with Phthalo Blue.
ASTM Lightfastness Rating: Excellent
Transparency: Transparent
Granulating: Yes
Staining: Medium
Daniel Smith's goal is to make the painting process as memorable as your finished masterpiece. Today, just like in 1993, these watercolours are 'formulated to meet and exceed the highest industry standards for the manufacture of artist’s paints', and every batch made is tested and analyzed for its performance qualities.
This is a 15ml tube of Daniel Smith Watercolour Paint in Rose of Ultramarine.

The colour is amazing. Daniels Smith is the best watercolour made. (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
Not quite as dramatic granulation as the DS blurb claims on its own, but granulation increases when mixed with W & N French Ultramarine. (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
Not sure use reflects illustration. Perhaps w and n cd try producing an addl range! Also tubes soft and cause ooze of paint when opening! (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
Love this colour and have used it for painting my flowers - very rich (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
