Daniel Smith : Primatek Watercolour Paint : 15ml : Zoisite Genuine : Series 4
Zoisite Genuine is a lush primal green made from Australian zoisite. With a little paint and a high volume of water Zoisite Genuine produces a gray-green with a micro-dotted surface. A large paint to water ratio, the surface fractures to a faux leather look with a distinct three-dimensional effect.
ASTM Lightfastness Rating: Excellent
Granulating: Yes
Staining: Low Staining
Transparency: Semi-transparent
Daniel Smith's goal is to make the painting process as memorable as your finished masterpiece. Daniel Smith have spent eighteen years developing the finest and most complete line of watercolour paint so you can create your own unique vision.
PrimaTek Watercolours are made from minerals, often semi precious minerals, that have been ground into pigments, mixed with gum arabic (the binder) and milled into PrimaTek Watercolours. The first was Lapis Lazuli Genuine in 1998, since then, many more have been added such as Amethyst Genuine, Piemontite Genuine and Serpentine Genuine. Most of these colours have wonderful granulating effects that some artists have called 'magical'.
This is a 15ml tube of Daniel Smith Primatek Watercolour Paint in Zoisite Genuine.

a grey green, which granulates and gives wonderful rocks on beaches and cliffs. It is a tad expensive but I do like it so much. You can't really fail with DS and Jackson's pack nicely so you get your items in one piece. (Posted on 12/10/2022)Rating - Review by Deborah
I put off buying Zoisite due to the high price however since I took the plunge I am delighted with it. It's a fabulous dark heavily granulating green. I prefer this hue to Perylene Green and it is now a staple on my pallet. (Posted on 07/03/2022)Rating - Review by david bly
the colour shown he is not correct, it is actually grey with no hint of green, but it does granulate very well when mixed with other colours (Posted on 20/08/2015)Rating
