It unfolds like an origami, revealing 3 mixing trays, 2 water cups and 1 water bottle, along with 12 half-pan Cotman colours. Using quality plastics materials and exhibiting outstanding design, this product demonstrates the excellent value provided by Winsor & Newton, when compared to other alternatives. I received the Cotman Field Plus box set recently from Jackson's for the best price on the internet.
The watercolour set has exceeded my expectations and is absolutely wonderful.
The quality of the construction, the ingenuity and functionality of the design is excellent.
Comparing it to the Frank Herring compact whole pan palette which I also bought recently the Field Plus set appears to offer far more with the better quality and amount of plastic used.
When you also add in the 12 half pans of Cotman paint,the admittedly small but useful brush and the water bottle and twin cups, it represents fantastic value for money.
The only improvement I can suggest would be to remove the clip which holds the small brush in place to leave a bigger gap in order to fit a larger sized travel brush into the set.
Artists quality paints can be substituted once the Cotman pans have been used up.

Very good. Have eventually refilled with Jackson's full pans which lock nicely into the plastic frameworks. Lid closes perfectly if you insert the water container correctly. Perfect for travel overseas. (Veröffentlicht am 13.05.2017)
