Nova Trio is a wirebound sampler sketchbook that has mixed sheets of the three Nova Series shades, beige, grey and black. This product allows artists to compare the same drawing on different shades of paper and to experiment with the three Nova shades before investing in a sketchbook of a single shade.
Nova Series toned papers are double-sized for enhanced wet strength and made to support mixed media artwork.

These sketchbooks, there are two sizes, so check which one suits your purpose( I have both sizes). There are fifty pages in each book with three tinted papers, black, grey and pale brown. I haven’t bought stillman and birn sketchbooks before but I wanted these because I like drawing and sketching on tinted paper and these are the only ones with three different colours. I haven’t tried watercolour on them but they are great for pencil drawing, pen and ink, coloured pencils, markers and crayons.
