Michael Harding Oil Colours are among the finest oil paints available to artists today. The colours have a high load of top-quality pigments which are ground in refined cold-pressed linseed oil (safflower oil in Titanium White No. 1). The greater the pigment content of a paint the greater the resistance it has to fading. Nearly all manufacturers use various fillers to extend the volume of the oil paint. It may increase profits but it compromises on quality. Harding refuses to do this: 'Why make something exceptional and then dilute it?'
