Zest-It : Printmakers Plate Oil 4 (Thickest) : 250ml

Zest-it Printmakers Plate Oils have been developed to modify the viscosity and tack of oil based printing inks as well as providing a wide range of viscosities with four different thicknesses available . Plate Oil numbers 1 to 4 contain tung oil, a traditional drying oil that does not add sheen to the dried ink and adds an improved waterproof element to the finish. Plate Oil No.5 has no tung oil added so can be used safely by those who have nut allergies. If necessary this oil can be thinned with Printmakers Cleaner.

As always there is a possibility of spontaneous combustion of oil soaked rags if they are left crumpled and piled up. Dry the rags flat, place in a metal airtight tin or wash with soap and water
