My pencils are now in colour/shade order in an easy to carry case. (Posted on 02/05/2018)Rating - Review by Ekaterina
Bought it a month ago. Comfortable and practical thing. Shoulder strap just ripped off yesterday. Can't say I'm happy about that. (Posted on 02/09/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
This is the second of these cases that I have. It is excellent for carrying watercolour pencils. (Posted on 29/06/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
The product is a brilliant idea.Rating
One problem is that the D rings for the shoulder strap are plastic and one has snapped after the second time using it. I'm in Madrid now for quite a while and will not be able to fix it or return. (Posted on 16/03/2017)- Review by Feefo
I thought this product was good value for money. (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
does what it says - stores a lot of pencils. (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
Bought as a present but the receiver is very happy so I am too (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
the bag was recommended by a colleague and her recommendations were correct (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
The carry strap is a bit annoying as it hooks on a way that when the bag opens out it gets in the way. Would also perhaps liked one of the inserts to have had larger elastic areas for a small paintbox as this bag would be good for outdoor sketching and painting. (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
At last a bag where I can get tons of art stuff in a compact space. Have filled all the slots with three types of pencils, pens, brushed, everything! A watercolours set and drawing accessories, plus three sketchbooks! And there is still room for another leaf, if Derwent will sell them separately. Well made and sturdy. Not sure if it is waterproof. This is will be ideal for holidays and for taking outside to draw and sketch. Absolutely everything you need in one easy to carry bag. Brilliant! (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
This item is ideal for carrying pencils, so much better than the tins, whereRating
the lids quite often come loose. (Posted on 16/03/2017)- Review by Feefo
Just what I expected, Derwent is really a great brand. (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Feefo
Initially the one I received was faulty, the inside pocket coming unstitched at the first use. I have received a replacement and have used it for a few weeks now and it seems to be holding up. The general design of the product is very good and it holds the number of pencils it says. The different colours are easy to find when needed and easy to put back in place. The bag is small enough and light enough to take to art class and easy to store when not in use. (Posted on 16/03/2017)Rating - Review by Christine Blount
I love my bag, can fit all the pencils/pens I own in it with room to spare. It has been invaluable going out and about to sketch. That said there are a few minor problems with it. One downside is the inside elastic holder is very close to the ring binder, you can only really fit one thing in there and still be able to move the leaves. The other problem as another reviewer has stated is that the d-rings are quiet fragile plastic. Have only used my bag a few times and one of the rings snapped, it really wasn't overloaded. It had an A5 sketchbook inside and the leaves weren't completely filled. If it can't take the weight of an amount it was designed for so maybe Derwent should look into that.I would heartily recommend this product, just bear in mind that the rings do snap. It is worth the price but maybe carry spares or switch them out for metal ones. (Posted on 20/08/2015)Rating - Review by Alexander Cargill
Bought this very bag several years ago.... whether you are an artist on the go, or just need safe storage at home it is fantastic! I use it to store my watercolour pencils, block pads, and spiral sketch books. there is also ample room for a small drawing board which I carry with me, some masking tape, water colour postcards, and a whole host of other items. As a mainly water-colourist, I have removed one of the leaves as it was not required, and feel it is a lot lighter and more comfortable on days out. The elasticated slots for pencils actually hold two per loop as they are of a generous size, and also allow me to store larger objects, such as a sharpening knife, my water brushes, some tortillons of varying sizes, and also a selection of compact watercolour brushes, graphite solid pencil sticks too.In fact I use it to even carry around a small watercolour palette and paints in case I feel in the mood for straight forward painting. It has a very comfortable carrying handle which fastens together using velcro and is thick enough to allow carrying over long periods without discomfort. I must say a previous owner has stated that the supplied shoulder sling is of lightweight quality, it is in fact made of plastic, but I have had no problems using it thus far ( 2 years on ) so long as you remember not to overload the bag, if using all of the supplied "" leaves "" and the bag is also used to carry heavier blocks of paper etc, I imagine that this could lead to breakage. Otherwise I must give this item 10/10 for ingenuity and use-ability! (Posted on 20/08/2015)Rating - Review by Dagmar Paseková
I bought this item about a week ago and it arrived yesterday. For this price I think it's very good, I really like how it's built and you can also remove some of the pencil slots or add, just as you need. The material the bag is made from is quite good too, I like the natural feel of the bag. (Posted on 20/08/2015)Rating
