The palette looks exactly like I wanted. It is lightweight, with 4 good sized mixing wells and even more space than the 16, 1/2 pans if the "thumb hole" is used. But as I haven't actually transferred my paint yet I have not used it so can't give 5 stars yet. (Posted on 10/11/2018)

It looks cheap and once it turned up I thought I should have bought the clover leaf one, But as the clover leaf costs £40 and this was £15.90 I suppose you get what you pay for.

This is a great palette for plein air work. It is very flexible, as you can use as is or fill in the thumb hole or add more pans and fill in the whole section. The mixing areas are good and it is relatively strong. I really like the box construction and dimensions but I still can't decide if I like the plastic. Reminds me of White Nights watercolor boxes but surely isn't sturdier than the Cotman sketcher's pocket box. The time will tell. (Posted on 13/11/2014)
