Fantastic depth of each colour. Lovely variety of intense colours which can be mixed or layered with other colours. Can be used like Watercolour. Can easily be used with other media for a mixed media painting. Can be diluted or used neat to create an even more intense application . Due to the incredibly fast shipping my set arrived just yesterday and I was so excited about these I immediately tested them. They're really brilliant, especially yellows and reds. The black is a real impressive deep black. I'm a bit disappointed about the ultramarine blue as it seems dull, more towards indigo (tested on a piece of CP Arches) but I can live with that. :) One small drop from the bottle goes a long way and that's just great. Also they seem to stain a lot (need to wash the brushes a lot when using different colours) and I find them more resistant to water once they're dry. So colour lifting without appropriate medium is almost impossible. My opinion is they're really worth it as they're really easy to use (they're especially powerful when creating flat washes).
