Saunders Waterford is one of the world’s finest watercolour papers. A 100% cotton watercolour paper, it has a structure giving it strength and a characteristic feel. The manufacturing process uses a cylinder mould which makes it possible to obtain harmonious and varied grains with rough, cold-pressed, hot-pressed quality - and four deckled edges.
The paper is gelatin-sized, and then air-dried, so that the colours retain a fine rendering even after being scraped and erased. Its natural whiteness (no optical bleaches), mildew protection and neutral PH mean that the paper has a very long shelf-life.
The Watercolour Paper Spiral Pads are available in two sizes and in the following textures: Smooth/Hot Press, Medium/Cold Pressed/Not, Rough.
