Buttery so you can pick up paint ,apply it then, after wiping your brush with just a rag pick up a different colour on another part of the brush (if the subject is suitable)

I bought a starter set to test them and I have added to that since
For an absolute beginner I might recommend adding Jackson's Burnt Umber to this set when ordering

The quality is GREAT for the price, nice pigments, nice buttery texture, very good starter set if you are new to painting (or not new!) it is good for anyone! (I always use a little bit of paint thinner just to soften it though, cause it can be a little on the thick side!) (Posted on 2017-08-15)
