A great starter set which contains some of the essential items needed for quality printmaking. Use with monotype brushwork or roll up, intaglio, etching collograph and more. This set contains three Akua Intaglio Inks, which are high quality, lightfast pigments. The inks have a thick consistency with minimal water content and contain no toxic driers – this means a longer working time. The set also contains Phthalo Akua Liquid Pigment Ink which originally was developed for monotype printmaking and is a fluid concentrated pigment.

Included in this set are also two modifiers, the Transparent Base Modifier is designed to have Akua Liquid Pigment added to it which will not only thicken the Liquid Pigment but will give you the ability to create new intaglio or relief colors. The set also contains a Blending Medium which can be used with both the Akua Liquid Pigment and the Akua Intaglio Ink - it is a clear, colorless liquid and is to be used to thin the ink for brushwork, wash effects or used as a resist for viscosity monotypes.
