The natural toothy surface of Art Spectrum Colorfix paper is a superb substrate for dry media such as soft pastels, charcoal and pencils. It is also suitable for acrylics, inks, silverpoint, oil pastels, gouache and watercolors. Available in a range of colors.
This paper has been hand primed and dried, as a result, it may slightly curl.

I have used this paper before and find the texture perfect for pastel and as the surface is water proof I can add a water colour wash before working over with pastels

Art spectrum colourfix paper is the very best pastel paper I have tried. It holds many layers of pastel making correction easy, but allows blending & smudging to get that brilliant atmosphere in landscape. Unlike lots of sanded (& more expensive) papers it is very versatile & gives professional results even for an amateur. Great colour range too.
