Awagami papers are made from traditional natural fibers such as Kozo and Gampi as well as Bamboo, Cotton, and Hemp. They are produced at Awagami Factory, a sixth-generation family-run paper mill where traditional methods of making washi sit alongside modern innovations.

Awagami ecru-colored Okawara Pro Rolls are composed of Kozo, wood pulp, and recycled washi yielding a wonderful all-round paper with one smooth side and one slightly textured side. Awagami's Okawara Pro Rolls are internally sized giving them good strength and are popular for drawing, book arts, and all forms of printmaking (especially linocut).
