I love Sennelier! These paints are beautiful. They come in a very nice metal box which gives it a luxorious feel. Well worth the money.

The paint is smooth and gives vibrant mixes, but most of them are semi-opaque (phthalo blue is transparent), which I do not expect paints from a botanical set do. And the reds and phthalo blue are a bit granulating which is strange. Other than that, great for layering. The paint shines when it is layered, very vibrant and lovely. Rewet very quickly, almost too easy but I love that. If you are a beginner and don't know which colours to pick, this set is great. But I'd recommend using colours from this list (a PY3, an orange, a red, PV19 rose/crimson, PB29 ultramarine blue, pb15:3 phthalo) and buy daniel smith sticks then cut them into pan. greater value in the long term.
