Jackson's : Museum Stretched Canvas

These new Jackson’s Museum Stretched Canvas canvases combine the solidity of our new 20mm depth wooden stretcher bars, with what many consider to be the finest linens available in the world today. The stretcher bars are kiln-dried, finger-jointed and triple laminated, eliminating the risk of any twisting, warping, expanding or contracting of the wood over time. They are made from 100% PEFC Certified pine.

There are varius linens available:

• CL13 is a 325gsm Claessens linen canvas with a very fine surface. It is oil primed and is suitable for use with oil paints.
• CL66 is a 460gsm Claessens linen canvas with a medium surface. It is oil primed and is suitable for use with oil paints.
• CL112 is a 345gsm Claessens linen canvas with a medium-fine surface. It is universal primed and is suitable for use with acrylics and oil paints.
• CL166 is a 415gsm Claessens linen canvas with a medium surface. It is universal primed and is suitable for use with acrylics and oil paints.

Please note: You cannot cancel bespoke canvas orders after they've gone through, as each one is made to size for every customer.

Please allow an extra 7 days for the delivery of bespoke canvases. To avoid unnecessary delays with any art supplies you wish to purchase we advise that these are ordered separately.

’Oversized' stretched canvas orders - roughly those with two or more sides longer than 160 cm - cannot be delivered by regular couriers, and will incur an additional location-dependent delivery charge. Once we've received your order you will be contacted with confirmation of this cost and to arrange a delivery date.
