This Beechwood Donkey Easel provides a convenient and stable platform for both drawing and painting.
A combined bench and easel, this product is ideal for school and small studio use as it is both sturdy and easily stored. This easel folds flat and therefore is easily lifted and transported. The wheels allow for quick movement over flat surfaces when folded. A spacious storage drawer for equipment is hidden within the bench.
The beechwood used to produce this donkey easel is sustainably sourced and kiln dried to ensure stability. This easel is coated in a varnish to give a pleasing finish.
Bench easel has an adjustable height support which means a variety of pads and canvases can be accommodated. It also offers adjustable working angles.

Poorly Designed
I recently purchased and I must say that I instantly disliked this product. It is cumbersome, awkward to handle, and worst of all, it is very poorly designed. The easel mast does not sit flush with the channel that it slides into. Therefore your drawing board or painting wobbles when working on it. the top and bottom clamps that hold it into place, do not add enough friction. to keep it steady. The mast's clamps are poorly designed as well: there is no lip or dado cut to help keep you canvas, board, etc into place. These things are very easy to miss based on the photos. I also do not like how wide the seat is, and the edges of the bench are sharp. I had to sand them down to soften the edges. This thing is way to much work to fix. I will give it/throw it away. 0 stars.

The product is excellent, however the spine of the easel can’t be stored inside the donkey. Also a locking mechanism for the legs would be useful allowing for it to be moved very short distances without folding. Small issues, overall the easel is excellent, I particularly enjoy the length on the seat to rest my palette. Thank you.
