Love this paper, good choice of colours and packed carefully and delivered quickly. Would like it Jackson's could sell smaller sheets in more of the colours rather than the big sheets, just a suggestion but easier to handle than the large ones.

Fantastic paper, takes wet underpainting without damage.

The important thing for me about Mi-Teintes Touch is that it takes any amount underpainting without buckling. I slosh around a lot so this is a valuable attribute. Flannel grey is lovely mid-value grey that provides a very versatile base for a wide range of work. I order it in bulk.

OK, but quite a pale ground. I prefer a more robust tone.

OK, but the abrasive surface is very slightly dimpled. The Australian version Mi-Teintes Tex is uniform with better grip, and excellent in my opinion.

Interesting new product. More tooth than Mi Teintes but substantially less than Fisher 400. More akin to Colourfix. Nice.

Warning for charcoal users : if you use the white paper and use blending then be prepared for the blending to turn the black charcoal to a brownish hue. If you use putty rubbers as a drawing tool then you will find that it will not erase line very successfully compare to the other papers I use - ghost lines will be evident as will 'rubbed out' unwanted images. I use both Fabriano Roma paper and Canson Mi Teintes normal. The Touch paper is far better at holding the charcoal than the normal Mi Teintes but you loose the soft blending potential and there is a price to pay if clean lines are required. See my web site for examples of my charcoal drawings www.petecernis.com My recommendation is that the paper is worth a try as a tester to see if it suits your particular style but it is expensive and should perform better.

Nice soft tooth. I prefer this to the Sennelier soft pastel card for easier blending, and it's not so rough that I can't use my fingers. The cream is much yellower and darker than shows up on my screen - I would choose white instead next time.
