Isabey Syrus contains a blend of sable and synthetic fibre with a red handle and white tip. One of the best among sable/synthetic blend brushes, the Syrus Sable Blend offers qualities similar to a sable at a fraction of the cost.
Isabey have been making brushes in France since 1895. Although the invention of the metal ferrule in the mid 18th century revolutionized the manufacturing process of brushes, the essential techniques have changed little since the 1400s. Isabey have helped to keep this tradition and know-how alive.
