Cappelletto : Professional Restoration Easel : Electric with Remote Control (DTA)

The Cappelletto Professional Restoration Easel is a handmade solid beech electric studio easel designed for ambitious, extra-large scale painting and for the conservation and restoration of Old Master canvases, bas-reliefs, mosaics, icons and heavy wooden panels. The electric angle adjuster allows conservators to work without surface glare, and can tilt the painted surface up to 5° forward from vertical, or to 11° back.

This easel is supplied in kit form and is easily assembled. It is driven by two electric motors of 230V-50Hz, which are controlled using the control pad. The easel can lift canvases of up to 550lb in weight. The bottom of the canvas can be brought to 10cm from the ground, or extended up from the ground by 1.5 metres.

When fully extended, the easel stands 3.75 metres tall over its base of 2 x 2.3 metres. The weight of the easel is 80kg.
