The convenience of an extra thick, stable board that eliminates the need for stretching and mounting of watercolor paper. These watercolor boards feature a 100% rag, heavy weight surface paper mounted to an extra heavy weight core to prevent warping. Uniform sizing and internal sizing provides maximum durability for wet on wet techniques, re-working and erasing.
Available in Heavy Weight (1.70-1.85mm) and Extra Heavy Weight (3.18-3.43mm), in Hot Press and Cold Press surfaces with premium cream core.
Ideal for watercolor, acrylics, gouache and light collage. Not recommended for oil paint unless primed with gesso first. Board edges should be taped or waxed when heavy washes are used.

Nice surface, takes washes well for a HP surface yet is good for detail, needs taping down as it it can bend slightly when large areas are wetted.

This is only the 2nd time I've used this, it's good for blending washes and is fairly white so better for repro than some.
