Specially developed for the protection of acrylic works from environmental pollutants which can cause surface degradation. Sealing the surface with varnish provides a barrier film which can be cleaned or removed using low odour solvent or turpentine, but leaves the paint itself unblemished.

The product was solvent based and had to be applied in a very well ventilated room. It flowed well and coverage was fine with brush marks largely absent from the finished article. We were surprised however, even though it was labelled hazardous, how intense and overpowering the fumes from the varnish were - we resorted to face masks. The finish however was exactly as we would have wished it, clear with no clouding and a hard but flexible surface.

We would certainly use this product again, but take precautions from the outset. (Posted on 24/09/2016)
