Info
Aquafine watercolor paper is manufactured on a Fourdrinier paper machine using 100% virgin woodpulp. It is acid-free and buffered to prevent deterioration of color and to preserve the integrity of the paper over time. The paper is free of OBA and is surface and internally sized. Aquafine watercolor paper is aimed at beginners and students as well as professional artists preferring to work in mainly ‘dry’ watercolor painting techniques.
Its weight of 300gsm offers good water absorbability and the surface is fairly hard, making it easily erasable and suitable for masking fluid without stretching.

This is my go to day-to-day lower cost watercolour paper. Mostly the Not, which has a good teture (I have found many lower cost papers far too regular in texture in a displeasing way) and is pretty bullet proof. It plays nicely with masking fluid (mostly), and can take a nice amount of water - though it will obviously buckle after a point. There's a really wide set of sizes and the Jumbo Pads (I love the square one) are really great value an make you feel you can afford to experiment. Sure, there's better papers, but for the price I don't think you can go wrong with these.
