The dots are very generous and im painting many cards and small paints with them. Great way to try so many amazing colors!

In my opinion, you can't go wrong with Daniel Smith paints. I have this set of DS dot cards I bought a year ago, but also bought the full-page dot sheets which includes a "dot" of paint in every DS color - all 238 of them. I can say that after using both this set and the full set of colors, not only do I still have some of almost every color left on the sheets (and plenty of paint still left of this 36 dot card set), they have been a fantastic money and time-saving purchase! These cards have been an incredibly helpful guide when choosing which tubes to buy based on which dot colors I use the most and what color(s) I'll need/want for a particular commissioned piece of artwork. Dot cards are a thrifty purchase you won't regret!

A good way to test most of the Color’s that Daniel Smith offers. The dots are a decent size. Better than some other brands dot cards.

I got the Jane Blundell dot card. Great selection of decent sized dots and a cheap way to try Daniel Smith Watercolors.

Expensive but helpful in testing new colours; good sized dots which are substantial enough to properly test out (rather than the regular tiny dots purely for swatching). It's also a fun activity to swatch them all out.

Even if you have a full DS dot card pack, I still like ordering these for palette inspirations and learning about new artists. Can’t beat the price either!

I'm fairly new to watercolours and this helped me a lot to choose some of the colours I wanted. The blobs size are generous compared to W&N. Best purchase so far! Cheers.

Great for trying out the PrimaTeks and the interference range without spending too much money, some of the dots have nearly no paint at all.

One color was missing from the chart and some of them were hard to get off the paper! Other than that, all good.

Dainel Smith watercolour Dot Sheet, this product is such a great idea and a good way to try the collection. The Dot Sheet is also a swatch chart and ( for me ) an easy way to make a wish list/supplies I own list.

Comes enough of each color to see it in a larger swatch when activated, but not enough to use it for details in paintings. I like to be able to test these, thanks.

What a great idea. Because of the lovely names, you could easily get lost not realising what's the best colour you are looking for. This solves the problem, you can also see which colours granulate for a good effect. Daniel smith watercolours are always a special treat, look forward to getting them then look forward to using them.

This is a great item, enabling you to try colours before you buy them, and there is enough paint to experiment with them a bit. It's a fabulous idea.

Excellent, and better than expected. I had read other reviews about there not being much paint on the charts to test the colours. Not sure if the charts have been amended since that feedack, but I personally found the amount of paint to be extremely generous. A great way to test out colours before buying the whole tube.

It\'s ok but particularly the lapis blue was too small to try !

Presented well - I can't wait to use them (I have just tried one or two). I am sure I will be purchasing full tubes soon.

A few dots were not really big enough to paint out, but most were.. I have since bought some D Smith paints but the range on the chart does not sem to be matched by the range on sale at Putney Bridge. Overall though I am well pleased and like dealing with Jacksons.

daniel smith could make the dots a little bigger, some of them had hardly any paint on them which makes it hard to make a big wash to see results, especially if its a granulation pigment...

Beautiful chart, very useful for checking paint names and characteristics, as well as seeing the granulating qualities each presents when used.

A great way to try the Daniel Smith watercolours before investing in full tubes. Only downside was that some of the dots on my sheet were so small they were almost non-existent, and unfortunately it was the colours that I wanted to try the most :( However I have found a lot of very promising colours and plan to buy some of them in tubes as soon as I can afford them.
