Venetian Red (PR101) is an earthy red-brown. A medium staining pigment, Venetian Red lifts with some difficulty when dry, but leaves a special warm afterglow when blotted at the damp state. This product is ideal for architectural depictions as due to its granular texture and red brick coloring. Venetian Red is also a great tube to reach for when painting Autumnal scenes.
