Just fantastic
I bought this after seeing it mentioned on a few YouTube videos, and it didn't disappoint. My first painting was a fairly large picture of a harbourside location, and I was impressed with the way that the brush could hold a huge amount of water, put down a wash with ease, and then still hold such a fine point that rigging and anchors could be painted with the same brush. Hugely impressed, and it's meant I've already bought some travel brushes from the same Perla series.
Just superb!
I had to buy one of these after watching videos from an artist who waxed lyrical about these brushes. I tried it out on a large (for me) painting of a Cornish port. The point of the brush is fabulous, meaning I hardly had to reach for my sword or rigger until the very end. It holds a huge amount of water, and is wonderful for wet and dry brush techniques. In fact, it was so wonderful, I had to buy a set of three of the Joseph Zbukvic travel brushes for daily plein air.

I used not to like synthetic brushes; but this series have good feel, point and spring; one minus point, though, is that the don't lift up running wet paint and well as sable or squirrel
