Escoda Toray White is one of the finest quality synthetic fibers available for artists working with watercolors.
It keeps an excellent point and edge for a soft, yet controlled application. Escoda cures each brush to improve the spring and resilience of the hair.
The short, green lacquered wood handle is triple crimped to the nickel-plated brass ferrule. The nylon filaments vary in diameter to allow for a more natural appearance.

Review
I've always hesitated about using synthetic for watercolour, preferring sables over the old nylon type things. But this is so different; I wish I'd discovered them before now. Because of it's point it has volume but delicacy when needed.

Great brush . The only mildl negative was that the previous Escoda 1430 Round I ordered had a clear plastic protective sleeve for the brush point - but on this occasion none included.
