Real ones ?
I've been using this brush for about a year and I have two words to describe it: disappointing and frustrating. This is my first Kolinsky brush and I don't know if I received a poor product (which would be strange knowing Escoda's quality control that they show in their videos) or if it is just not a product for me. It looses hair, even though I'm really delicate when using/cleaning it. It is absolutely not accurate, since the bristles do not form a sharp point but rather multiple "peaks". When lifting the brush from the paper, the multiples bristles "peaks" produce droplet of watercolor, splashing my drawing. I've watched some videos and I feel like it's not supposed to act like that. But again, it's my first Kolinsky brush so I can't tell. I feel sorry for not liking this high quality brush... I'm going back to synthetic brush. PS: This is my second time trying to upload this comment, apparently the first time my review hasn’t been approved… I’ve read somebody online saying that they had Kolinsky brush for years, and loving them, till it that passed out, so they bought new ones at Walmart. The quality was shockingly different. Conclusion was it is certainly fake. Could the products I have received be fake ones ?
