It’s excellent for use both with watercolour and oil /acrylic, allowing artists to create fine details as well as providing superior performance for colouring large areas and backgrounds. The brushes have a lid and the set comes with a synthetic leather case to safely store them.
Staff tip:
When cleaning synthetic brushes that have been used with oil paint it is advisable to not use turpentine as it will start to break down the synthetic filaments within the brush. Instead we recommend to use an odourless / low-odour brush cleaner.

Received these today and just couldn't wait to try them out! Each of the brushes fit nicely into their case without any looseness like many other brands I reviewed. The carrying case would/will fit nicely into my pocket when going into the field. After, and while painting a simple landscape I will admit the points of each of the brushes retained their original points/shapes! These brushes retain water great which was the primary reason for purchasing them . If you are on the fence about which travel brushes to purchase I can tell you these Versatil brushes are the best out there, and the price point is also the best on the Internet. Jackson's Art has earned my business forever now.
