Kneadable erasers are great for correcting, lightening or erasing work in charcoal, pencil and pastel. They can be manipulated into whatever shape the artist chooses, and will leave no residue on the erased surface. This makes them ideal for subtractive drawing.

I've tried a few different putty rubbers, but I always come back to this Faber Castell one. It's not too sticky unlike others, and is just perfect for picking out highlights on pencil or charcoal sketches. (Posted on 8/17/2017)
