Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper is mould made, produced with 100% cotton, chlorine and acid free, guaranteeing long conservation and inalterability over time. The paper is sized both internally and externally, making it ideally absorbent and retaining its nature unaltered even if scratched. Traditional white, without optical bleaching.
Two deckle edges and watermarked "FABRIANO+ARTISTICO" on the short side. Short grain. The high quality and ample offer of this paper satisfies the requirements of all professional artists and the most demanding amateurs.
Ideal for watercolor, tempera, gouache, acrylic, ink, charcoal, graphite and drawing. It is also suitable for printmaking.

Have used Fabriano Artistico HP many times in the past, I really like the effects you can get using fluid watercolour on this paper, also salt effects can be good and the use of clingfilm gives great striations when used with more sedimentary colours. Using Extra White gives watercolour even more glow, especially when painting glazes.

The paper was terribly crinkled when it arrived. The edges of the box were mashed which in turn mashed the edges of the paper. Also, there is a large bend down the middle of the paper as if some one had tried to bend the box and/or a heavy object had been set on the middle of the box causing it to bend in the middle. I am going to attempt a recovery on the paper by ironing it with a hot steam iron. The paints arrived in great shape. I will be giving them a workout in the next week. All the best to you.

Beautiful paper with probably the smoothest surface of any HP paper on the market and just what I need for my style of watercolour painting. I use this and Fabriano Traditional as well.
