The paper is sized both internally and externally, making it ideally absorbent and retaining its nature unaltered even if scratched.
Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper has two deckle edges and is watermarked on the short grain side. It is suitable for watercolor, tempera, gouache, acrylic, and ink, as well as for drawing with charcoal and graphite. It is also suitable for printmaking.
