Nice set of brushes, good quality

Watercolourists either sit down or look away: I bought this set to use with oils. I want a very smooth laydown on my current oil work, almost no texture nor brushmarks and I knew only the softness of a watercolour brush was going to do it. I didn't want to ruin my best watercolour brushes so bought these. I used them to do a small section today- just three of the brushes used so far- and they worked perfectly. Exactly what I was looking for. They are actually really nice watercolour brushes and I may buy another of these sets for that purpose in the future, but my purpose at the moment is oils and these are great for that too- especially if you're looking for a smooth, texturelesss laydown. The 1.5 inch flat make a great tool to blend away unwanted brushmarks too! Recommended, especially at this price. These are really good synthetics.

Excellent starter set, case is good but the large flat brushes do not fit as handles are too wide. The brushes are great, hold just enough water and keep their shape well. This is the second set I own
