Designed to yield a pully, tar-like feel, but in a colorless gel. This gel has an extremely resinous and stringy consistency, which makes it feel very different than other acrylics. Useful for generating fine detailed lines by "dripping" it over surfaces, as it continuously flows from palette knives or other tools. Blends with all Golden Acrylic colors (though Fluids work best) to offer a full range of colors with which to work.

If you've ever used 'Stand Oil' or sun thickened linseed oil (the favourite medium of Rembrandt) for achieving incredible glazing techniques in oil painting - then think of this as the acrylic equivalent. It has the same treacle-like consistency and dries to a completely clear glass-like glaze. It dries very quickly in thin layers allowing you to build up great depth within work. Using this and 'GOLDEN glaze medium gloss'-(thinner and slower drying) you can achieve every type of glazing you could ever require.
