The Golden Heavy Body Acrylic Paint Traditional Set contains a selection of historically significant colours ideal for mixing the range of colours required for figurative painting.

Golden heavy body acrylics are known for their exceptionally smooth, thick buttery consistency. The range features the largest assortment of unique pure pigments in a 100% acrylic emulsion vehicle available to the professional artist. These colours offer excellent permanency and lightfastness. There are no fillers, extenders, opacifiers, toners or dyes added.

Each colour is formulated differently depending on the nature of the pigment. Colours that tolerate high pigment loads dry to a more opaque, matt finish. Colours that are more reactive and do not accept high pigment loading dry to a glossy finish and tend to be more transparent. Golden heavy body colours contain no additives, such as matting agents, therefore the gloss of each colour will reflect the characteristics of each pigment in their purest form.

This set includes a 59ml bottle of Gloss Glazing Liquid, a 59ml tube of Titanium White, and the following 22ml colours: Cadmium Yellow Light, India Yellow Hue, Cadmium Red Light, Alizarin Crimson Hue, Ultramarine Blue, Prussian Blue Hue, and Viridian Green Hue.
