- Named after British painter William Payne, early formulas contained Indigo, Alizarin Lake, and Ivory Black. Today Golden use a mixture of Ultramarine Blue and Black. It is considered easier to control and less intense than black as a mixing colour.

Golden High Flow Acrylic Paint is an ultra-thin acrylic paint that can go directly from bottle to airbrush, refillable marker, dip pen and more. From fine lines to broad strokes, High Flow Acrylic has an ink-like consistency that lends itself to a wide range of techniques, including drawing, staining, dripping, pouring, calligraphy and colour washes.
High Flow Acrylic offers a palette that includes many single pigment colours, as well as Fluorescent and Iridescent colours. This range is compatible with other Golden acrylic colours and mediums.
