Holbein Acryla Gouache is an opaque and highly-pigmented paint which dries to a velvety-matte finish. In terms of handling and mixing, it behaves like traditional Gum Arabic gouache, but because it is made with an acrylic resin binder, it is water resistant once dry. It dries quickly and with minimal color-shift; what you see wet is what you get once the paint has dried.
Acryla Gouache does not have the same fragile surface as traditional gouache made with Gum Arabic because the acrylic paint film is more flexible. It can be mixed with other acrylic or traditional gouaches, as well as with watercolors.
This sample set of five 12ml tubes includes the following colors: Carmine, Lemon Yellow, Sky Blue, Jet Black, Titanium White.

Simple and effective!
Got as I wanted to try using gouache for the first time. A little goes a long way, they are super pigmented like acrylics but can be thinned with water to have a more watercolour effect, it’s like having the best of both worlds and a matt finish! Overall, i’m super pleased with these paints.

Great paints, good opacity, doesn't go as far as regular gouache paint but being able to layer without mixing layers is worth it.

Excellent quality paints with high pigment levels and a velvety matte finish. Difficult to blend edges though.
